The AUBERGERAC is situated on the edge of the old town of Bergerac, perfect for excursions to medieval villages such as Issigeac (18km), Monpazier (43km), Monflanquin (47km) and Belvès (51km). The pretty shopping town of Périgeux with its magnificent cathedral is 40km away, the most famous town of the Périgord, Sarlat-la-Canéda, with its famous weekly market, and the caves of Lascaux are 75km away. The cool Atlantic Ocean and its beautiful beaches are also an attraction for a day trip.

The old town of Bergerac is a 15-minute walk away and offers a variety of shopping opportunities, excellent restaurants with Périgord specialities and cosy cafés, as well as a lovely weekly market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. 

Water lovers are also in the right place here: relaxing in the pool, swimming, fishing or paddling in the nearby Dordogne or at Lac de Pombonne, a small lake in the middle of an extensive park in Bergerac. 

Bergerac has the international airport Bergerac-Dordogne-Périgord as well as an SNCF train station.
